Liberty-Benton High School Students of the Month for November
Senior Lucas Mattingly has been active in soccer, choir, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and basketball. He enjoys golfing, hanging out with friends and attending St. Michael’s Refuge Youth Group. His favorite classes are Calculus and Government, and he is looking forward to graduating from high school. His personal goal is to graduate from a four-year university with a degree in business. Lucas is the son of Rick and Melanie Mattingly.
Junior Emma Otley enjoys playing piano, reading, writing, and drawing, and her favorite classes are World History and Anatomy. She is active in volleyball, FCA, and is the choir accompanist. She is looking forward to the next chapter of life after high school, and her personal goal is to graduate with a 4.0 grade point average. Emma is the daughter of Bruce and Tricia Otley.
Sophomore Caleb Aukerman is involved in 4-H showing livestock, 4-H camp counselor, active in church youth group, volunteers with Upwards Basketball, and plays indoor soccer. His favorite subjects are math, English, and social studies, and he is active in soccer, FCA, and choir. He is looking forward to graduating and attending college, and his personal goals are to maintain a 3.5 GPA and make a positive difference in the community. Caleb is the son of Ryan and Tracy Aukerman.
Freshman Allie Hiegel is active in soccer, basketball, and Z-Club, and her favorite subjects are math and art. She enjoys St. Mike’s refuge youth group and hanging out with friends and family. She is looking forward to getting her license, and her personal goal is to maintain a 4.0 grade point average throughout high school. Allie is the daughter of Doug and Kelly Hiegel.
