Welcome to Liberty-Benton High School! Our students strive for greatness and continue to meet the challenges and high expectations set before them. We are proud to be an EXCELLENT high school, within a district considered to be EXCELLENT. Year after year, our staff members work diligently to prepare students for a bright and successful future, and we are all blessed to live within such an overwhelmingly supportive community. Together through this teamwork and cooperative effort, we will continue to see amazing accomplishments for our youth. Congratulations, Eagles, and keep up the great work!

September 2023 Students of the Month

Senior - Owen Wilkins

Owen is the son of Julie and Jim Wilkins. He is involved in track and field, FCA, and student council. He enjoys spending time with family, hanging out with friends, reading, playing video games, and watching sports. His favorite school subject is science and his favorite teacher is Mr. LaFontaine. Owen is looking forward to finishing his senior year and heading into college, and his goal is to maintain his 4.0 GPA.











Junior - Lauren Starcher

Lauren is the daughter of Crystal and Rob Starcher. She is involved in marching band, choir, and the jazz band. She enjoys her work with the Lima Youth Symphony Orchestra. Her favorite school subjects are chemistry and music, and her favorite teachers are Mr. Holben, Mr. Wolfe, Ms. Ballou, and Mr. Marzec. Lauren is looking forward to the spring musical, and his goal is to continue to build her GPA.











Sophomore - Aiden Lee

Aiden is the son of Kristen and Daren Lee. He is involved in cross country, track, Habitudes, and student council. He enjoys fishing, playing sports, and hanging out with friends. His favorite school subject is science and his favorite teachers are Mr. Arnold and Mr. Quisno. Aiden is looking forward to having a great school year, and his goal is to get an academic college scholarship.













Freshman - Emma Hertel

Emma is the daughter of Rachael and Shawn Hertel. She is involved in the bowling team and Fermata the Blue (FTB). She enjoys reading, singing, dancing, and animals. Her favorite school subjects are math, science, American Sign Language, and history, and her favorite teachers are Mr. Cupples, Mrs. Myers, Mr. Pickett, Mrs. Pickett, Mr. Gerken, Mrs. Foltz, Ms. Beckman, and Mr. Quisno. Emma is looking forward to graduating from high school and being able to drive. Her goal is to get an honors diploma and at least a 3.5+ GPA.
